Super Store
Holiday shopping for our children and parents

Head Start parents use the Super Store to do their holiday shopping. The Super Store helps them stretch their extremely tight budgets and ensure that their children’s holiday is a happy one.

Our parents are busy volunteering and participating in workshops and classes in order to earn voucher points which they will use to “purchase” toys and other gifts on December 20, 2008. The parents and caregivers truly look forward to this day because it gives them the opportunity to select that special gift for their children and other relatives. It also helps to foster their self-esteem because they know they have worked hard to earn this privilege which is of great benefit to their families. The joy on our parents’ faces when they see the Super Store is indescribable!

We are asking your assistance in donating:

• New toys
• Books for children
• New clothing for children and adults
• Household items
  

We also accept cash donations which we will use to help stock popular items that “sell out” quickly!

In order to give us time to set-up and allow the parents to shop, we would appreciate receiving your gifts before December 17th. Please do not wrap your gifts. Gifts should be delivered to 915 Sterrett Street, Baltimore., MD 21230 Monday- Friday between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please call 410-685-1700 for more information or with any questions.
