Anna’s House offers transitional and permanent housing for homeless women and their children in Harford County.  We provide these families with a safe environment in which to live. We also provide counseling, career and life skills training, and employment assistance. We help the women of Anna’s House to achieve independence. Located in scenic Harford County surrounded by woods and walking trails, Anna’s House offers a bit of country living with city advantages. Having a quiet place to live while sorting out life’s difficulties is a priceless gift. We assist our families by providing case management, utilizing the rich community services Harford County has to offer. Education, employment and empowerment are the paths to self-sufficiency we share with our residents. Volunteers and a caring staff give of themselves daily to help our families on their journey to independence.

Anna’s House plays an important role in the Harford County community, and, in turn, the community is an active participant in improving the lives of the women and children of Anna’s House.  The Harford County Department of Social Services, Wage Connection, Harford County Community College, and Harford County Health Department and Core Services all play a vital role in assisting the formerly homeless residents of Anna’s House become independent and self-sufficient families.
